Bush Legacy

Few people realize what George W. Bush has been doing for the last eight years. Sadly, the man has been grossly misunderstood. His humanitarian efforts in Africa were just a hint of his true greatness and selflessness. When people look at the falsehoods leading to a bungled war and occupation in Iraq, rising gas prices, a lousy economy, the Katrina response, the largest deficits in history, the dismantling of fundamental civil liberties, torture as policy, and the loss of American prestige at home and abroad, they only see gross mismanagement, incompetence, and malfeasance. But I do not. I see a plan. Much like John the Baptist, W. has been preparing the way for Another. Yes, how else could an inexperienced young black man with an Islamic name become President of the United States of America? Thank you, George W. Bush, your legacy will be written large.

Friday

It is rather quiet in the library, allowing me time to play with this. The rain is even keeping away the public patrons. I'll use my avatar from last year's Second Line blog. I've used a really zippy address for the blog as well.
